Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 26, 2026
Nathan Oswald operates Jury Pro and jurypro.io. Jury Pro is designed so that trial-preparation work can remain on the user’s Windows computer. This policy explains the difference between information handled locally by the desktop application, information used by the website for accounts, purchases, licenses, and support, and information Microsoft may handle when you install or update the app through Microsoft Store.
Information that stays local
Jury Pro project files, juror information, imported questionnaire content, voir dire questions, notes, response marks, seating information, and autosave recovery data are stored locally on the user’s computer or in a location the user chooses. The desktop application does not silently upload that information to the Jury Pro website.
Information the website collects
- Account information, such as a name, email address, username, and password credentials maintained by WordPress.
- Order information, such as billing name, organization, billing address, email address, product purchased, payment status, order number, and refund status.
- License information, such as the licensed customer or organization, license type, license identifier, support expiration date, and the account associated with a license.
- Support information submitted through email or the website contact form.
- Ordinary technical information used to operate and secure the website, such as IP address, browser type, cookies, login activity, and server logs.
How the information is used
Website information is used to process orders, deliver signed offline license files, maintain customer accounts, provide support, prevent abuse, keep business records, comply with legal obligations, and improve the reliability of the website.
Payments and service providers
Payments are processed by the payment providers offered during checkout. Jury Pro does not receive or store a customer’s complete payment-card number. The website also relies on service providers for hosting, transactional email, contact forms, spam prevention, embedded video, and related website operations. Those providers may process information according to their own privacy terms.
Microsoft Store
Microsoft Store provides Jury Pro installation and updates. Microsoft may process Microsoft account, device, installation, diagnostic, and Store usage information under Microsoft’s privacy terms. Jury Pro does not send juror names, questionnaire responses, notes, voir dire questions, seating information, or project files to Microsoft Store as part of its normal local workflow.
Cookies and embedded content
The website uses cookies needed for sign-in, account security, shopping-cart functions, checkout, and site preferences. Embedded videos and spam-prevention services may also receive technical information when they load. Optional analytics should be disclosed here before they are enabled.
Data retention and security
Order and license records are retained as reasonably necessary to document purchases, provide downloads and support, prevent fraud, and satisfy accounting or legal requirements. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, but no website or email system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of account information by contacting info@jurypro.io. Some order, licensing, fraud-prevention, or accounting records may need to be retained. Do not send confidential juror questionnaires or trial materials through the contact form unless specifically requested and you are comfortable transmitting them.
