Terms of Service

Effective date: September 26, 2026

These Terms of Service govern use of jurypro.io, purchases from Nathan Oswald, and use of the Jury Pro software. By placing an order, installing Jury Pro, importing a license file, or using the licensed software, the purchaser or licensed user agrees to these terms.

Trial and purchases

Jury Pro offers a 14-day trial so a prospective customer can evaluate the software before purchase. A Single License is licensed to one named person. An Enterprise License is licensed for use by lawyers and staff within one legal organization without a per-user limit. Prices and included features are those shown at checkout when the order is placed.

Payment, taxes, and delivery

Payment is due when an order is placed. The purchaser is responsible for applicable taxes unless a valid exemption is accepted. After successful payment, the website generates and emails a signed offline license file. Customers who use an account may also retrieve available license files there.

Microsoft Store distribution

Jury Pro is installed and updated through Microsoft Store. Nathan Oswald remains the seller and licensor of Single and Enterprise Licenses purchased on jurypro.io. Microsoft provides the app distribution channel and is not the seller of a Jury Pro license purchased from this website. A Microsoft account, Store availability, device eligibility, and the Microsoft terms that govern Store use may affect installation or updates.

Software license

A Single License grants one named person a nonexclusive, nontransferable right to install and use Jury Pro on the Windows computers that person uses. An Enterprise License grants one identified legal organization a nonexclusive, nontransferable right to install and use Jury Pro for its lawyers and staff without a per-user limit. Contractors or affiliated entities are not included unless the final license terms expressly say otherwise.

License restrictions

  • Do not sell, sublicense, rent, lease, publish, or share a license file outside the licensed person or organization.
  • Do not remove ownership notices or represent Jury Pro as another product.
  • Do not reverse engineer, bypass license verification, or use the software to create a competing product except to the limited extent a restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
  • Do not use Jury Pro in violation of law, court rules, professional obligations, or another person’s rights.

Ownership

Jury Pro is licensed rather than sold. Nathan Oswald retains ownership of the software, website, documentation, trademarks, and related intellectual property. Customers retain ownership and responsibility for their project files and data.

Local data and professional judgment

Jury Pro is an organizational tool. It does not provide legal advice, replace professional judgment, determine whether a juror should be selected or struck, or guarantee any outcome. Users are responsible for reviewing imported information, protecting confidential data, maintaining backups, following court rules, and making all legal and strategic decisions.

Updates and support

Updates are included with Single and Enterprise Licenses and are delivered through Microsoft Store when available. General documentation and standard support resources are available through the Learn Center and the contact methods shown on jurypro.io. Jury Pro does not promise a particular update schedule or continued compatibility with every future version of Windows. Any separate paid support service will be described and purchased under its own terms.

Refunds

Refund requests are handled under the Jury Pro Refund Policy. The availability of a trial is intended to let customers evaluate compatibility and workflow before purchasing.

Accounts and acceptable website use

Customers are responsible for protecting account credentials and license files. The website may not be used to interfere with its operation, probe security, distribute malware, make fraudulent purchases, or obtain another customer’s downloads or license information.

Service availability

Reasonable efforts are made to keep the website, account area, and license downloads available. Temporary interruptions may occur for maintenance, security, hosting, Microsoft Store availability, or circumstances outside reasonable control. Jury Pro’s core desktop functionality is designed to work offline after installation and licensing.

Limited warranty and disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jury Pro is provided “as is” and “as available.” No promise is made that the software will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every file or system, or suitable for every court or proceeding. Any nonwaivable rights under applicable law remain unaffected.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nathan Oswald will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, business, or legal outcomes arising from use or inability to use Jury Pro. Any aggregate liability will not exceed the amount paid for the license giving rise to the claim. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law.

Termination

The software license ends if the licensed customer materially violates these terms and does not cure the violation when cure is reasonably available. Upon termination, use and distribution of the license file must stop.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Wisconsin, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions may be sent to info@jurypro.io or Nathan Oswald, 1052 Main Street, Suite 204, Stevens Point, WI 54481.
